State Licensing Requirements for Mental Health Counseling

This program is designed to provide the content required by the State of Indiana, as well as various other states. Many states offer reciprocity for licensure and this program is open to students from any state. Students are encouraged to check with their own state license board to find out if this program will work for them.

  • Some states may offer reciprocity if the student is first licensed in Indiana.
  • Post-master’s degree requirements, such as supervised counseling experience, examinations, and specific coursework, are often required.
  • Each student is responsible for confirming their state requirements as they could change.
