The Behavioral Health Academy™ (BHA) partners with universities and behavioral health provider organizations across the state of Indiana to support social work and mental health counseling students. The programming provides evidence-based learning and therapeutic practices to treat clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. Participating students gain hands-on therapeutic experience that prepares them for a career at a community mental health center.

Streamline Your Behavioral Health Career

Through the BHA, you’ll earn a master’s degree in mental health counseling, prepare for dual licensure, and gain significant hands-on experience that will prepare you for the job you want as soon as you graduate.

Valuable Practical Experience

Dual Licensure Preparation

Become licensed to treat individuals with substance-use disorders and complex mental health issues.

Stipend for Internship

You’ll receive a stipend after completing an internship or practicum to offset your education costs.
